Our motto, “Dysgu Hapus, Dysgu Byw” (Happy Together, Learning for Life), reflects our commitment to excellence and nurturing ambitious, capable learners who become ethical, informed citizens.

My Personal Ethos:

I take great pride in creating a positive and engaging learning environment at my school. My dream is for every child to eagerly come to Bryncoch each morning and leave at the end of the day wishing they could stay longer. It’s clear that teachers who are passionate about their work inspire students to develop a love for learning.

Fun Bits:

My life is quite busy, but I always find time to support my favourite sports teams—Leeds United and the San Francisco 49ers! Weekends are dedicated to family time with my wonderful boys and our two beloved dogs. If you want to win me over, just offer me a strong cup of black coffee and a chocolate bar; that’s the perfect way to make me happy!

My Personal Ethos:

I believe that every child is unique with the potential to excel when developing their knowledge, skills and values within a wide range of experiences and opportunities. My teaching approach centres on cultivating curiosity, confidence, resilience and independence in our learners, ensuring they are happy and feel valued and respected within our whole school community.

Fun Bits:

I like to think that I am always happy and smiling. I enjoy staying active by walking and exercising, in both rain or shine! I treasure spending quality time with family, whether it is travelling, playing games, watching films, or going out for food together. Music is a big part of my life, McFly is my favourite band and I have seen them live 14 times! When I was in Primary School, I loved writing stories and this has led me to become a huge Harry Potter fan and I always try to look for the magic in every day life.

My Personal Ethos:

My personal ethos as a teacher is the belief that every pupil has the potential to succeed, and it is my role to nurture their growth by providing a safe, supportive and inclusive environment. I believe every child is unique and learns in their own way and my responsibility is to guide and challenge pupils by maintaining high expectations and providing encouragement.

Fun Bits:

As a rugby and football mum, my life is full of excitement and energy on game days. From early morning wakeups, getting kit all ready, and losing my voice on the sideline is all part of the thrill. If I am not cheering and supporting my children on a rugby or football pitch, I will be on top of a mountain taking in the beautiful landscapes of our surroundings. I love to walk and appreciate the beauty of nature while making memories with my family.

My Personal Ethos:

I am a very enthusiastic and conscientious practitioner who is driven by the well being and happiness of pupils. I strive to create learning environments that stimulate and engage pupils while ensuring pupils are nurtured and feel a sense of belonging. I take pride that I am part of the development of future generations in Wales.

Fun Bits:

I am a Disney mad, devoted mum to my son and two fur babies. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and have a secret passion for Lego building. I love to travel, paint and do all things creative and you can often find me drawing or doodling when I can. I have a passion for the Welsh language and love to encourage others to speak it whenever possible. My favourite Disney character has to be Donald Duck as I love his fiery personality!

My Personal Ethos:

I take pride in developing positive relationships with all pupils, staff and parents. My main priority is making sure all children are happy! I believe team work is vital so enjoy working alongside not only staff members but parents and others in our community to ensure we provide children with the best support and experiences possible.

Fun Bits:

I am very lucky to have an amazing family who I love to spend time with. I enjoy keeping busy and active and my weekends are usually spent doing lots of fun things with my husband and little girl. Fun Fact: I have competed for Wales in both Gymnastics and Athletics! But I do have an extreme sweet tooth! Win me over with any sweet treats, especially donuts!

My Personal Ethos:

I always endeavour to create an authentic and purposeful learning environment for my pupils, with engaging experiences both indoors and outdoors, allowing the children to learn through play. Its a privilege being the enabling adult supporting and extending the children's learning, and being part of those first experiences and wow moments in their school life. When my pupils arrive in school each day with a smile on their face and are eager to learn it makes it all worthwhile.

Fun Bits:

Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher and ... here I am. I have two daughters both away at university, so my time is currently spent walking my dog Betsi and snuggling my cat Amber. I enjoy travelling with my husband, movie nights and spending time with my friends. I'm happy when I can curl up with a good book and a bag of giant chocolate buttons!

Mine was written by the children - She enjoys crafts. She enjoys spending time with her family and walking her dogs - particularly teaching them tricks. She really loves reading and going for walks in the countryside.

Fun Bits:

She loves reading stories with lots of funny voices which makes it fun to listen to. If someone falls over, she is kind and helpful to make them feel better. She likes halping all chilkdren learn new things. She thinks beuing class with the children is fun. She is kind to everyone and helps us if we find something tricky.

I am committed to creating a warm and nurturing environment where children can grow and learn. With patience, kindness and a friendly approach, I aim to build strong connections with the children helping them to achieve their unique strengths and support their growth.

Fun Bits:

As a busy mum, life is always on the go but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I love spending time with my family and our pet dog making mountains of memories that I will treasure forever. I value my friends deeply and enjoy quality time with them. Shopping is my little escape – albeit mainly for others!

My days might be busy but my heart is full and I’m grateful for every moment.
